Footprints for Red Dot Sights

Red dots for rifles and pistols have been around for many years. With recent innovations in components and batteries they have become incredibly reliable and less expensive than ever before. One of the issues customers have, specifically with the red dot sights for pistols, is figuring out which pattern / footprint is used on each sight and which mounts they are compatible with.
