Springfield Armory is known for their production of US Military weapons in the first half of the 20th century. They produced millions of M1A's and M14's carried by troops from WWII through Viet Nam. 3 Gun Optics
Rifle optics can be used in the Tactical Optics, Limited, and Open divisions. Magnified optics are limited to Tac-Ops and Open divisions and are typically 1-4x or 1-6x variable. They generally have an illuminated reticle which can be used as a "red dot" at the 1x setting. Limited division shooters generally use a "reflex" or "red dot" type optic such as an Aimpoint, Vortex Sparc, or EoTech. In addition to optical performance, durability and weight are the primary concerns for all divisions. Pistol optics are only allowed in the Open division.
