Grundhauser Gun Works is a full-house custom shop and world class manufacturer of firearms and accessories. Grundhauser handguns are custom built and precision fitted by Minnesota gunsmith/ machinist Paul Grundhauser. These guns are derived from Paul's experience making custom-built race guns that have won national and world titles in USPSA and IPSC competitions.
IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Association) is an action handgun shooting game rooted in defensive and concealed carry style concepts. IDPA was formed in 1996 in response to the evolution of USPSA away from practical and service style handguns and holsters (USPSA Production and Single Stack divisions were later formed in response to the popularity of IDPA). IDPA is scenario based shooting emphasizing concepts such as drawing from concealment, using cover, and engaging targets in tactical priority.
